RegistryFox

RegistryFox is a pseudo registry cleaning application. It makes fake claims to being a reliable tool to effectively delete invalid shortcuts, stop system crashes, optimize system performance, and a host of other tasks. It does none of these. This rogue application may gain access to your system either through Trojans or you may have downloaded the application yourself from Web sites advertising free PC cleaning applications. Once downloaded and installed, RegistryFox does a so-called scan of your system and reports fake results.

The main task of fake PC tools, such as RegistryFox is to display profusion of pop-ups and fake system messages scaring you into believing the seriousness of the problems. The only recommended method to remove these ‘errors’ would be to purchase a ‘licensed’ version of RegistryFox. This version is as fake as its free edition. Do not download the free RegistryFox and if you have already done so, do not compound your problems by purchasing the ‘licensed’ version. Remove this rogue registry cleaning application from your system at the earliest.

Our technical team suggests that you efficient and genuine antispyware and antivirus tools to wipe out RegistryFox from your system. There are many applications available through online sources, and these are easy to use. You can expunge this fake application from your system manually too; however, we recommend you use software that will automatically do the job for you – unless you know what you are doing. It will still be a tough job and you will need to take extreme care.
