Abexo Complete Registry Cleaner
Abexo Complete is a cleaner that has both a basic free version, as well as a full version that costs $35. The free version is an evaluation copy that will only work for 5 days, but has full functionality. If you're having a one-time problem, this one is a good bet because it will let you run the entire scan without paying. If you're planning on using it regularly (to keep the registry from filling back up again with junk) then you will want to go with the paid version.
It's only got a few options, so it's not going to confuse you with a bunch of stuff you don't need. First of all, it can back up your registry (important, because you want to be able to go back just in case).
It also has an option to do a clean-up. Basically, what that will do is scan your registry, find all the files that shouldn't be there, and give you a list of everything that you may want to delete. You can select, file-by-file, which ones you want to keep and which ones you want to get rid of.
Abexo cleans the following parts of the registry: Sounds, Fonts, Help, Application Paths, Windows Startup Run, Invalid File Associations, Shared DLL's, Software Section, File List, and Classes Section. You don't have to do all of them: you can only check certain boxes which correspond to different parts of your registry. You can see what it looks like below:
